The initiative "Quid ultra? Frontiers and Controversies in Astrophysics"  has been funded by Sapienza University of Rome with the co-sponsorship of INAF/Astronomical Observatory of Rome and of the joint PhD program in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Science of Sapienza, Tor Vergata University and INAF.

Our monthly colloquia have taken place throughout 2021 and 2022, with a final colloquium foreseen for April 2023. It was originally planned that each speaker would be visiting for 2-3 days, to encourage additional meetings with Phd students and staff. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we re-arranged most of the meetings to be held remotely on Zoom.

Despite these limitations, the LOC has organized extra meetings with the speakers for PhD students and staff to encourage the opportunities of an exchange of information/ideas and to establish or strengthen collaborations with international research groups.
